Ben McGlynn launches Footy Star Academy in Mildura 🏉

Congratulations to former St Kilda Football Club assistant coach and Hawthorn Football Club and Sydney Swans AFL player Ben McGlynn who launched Footy Star Academy with over 200 children in Mildura last Sunday 30th October 2022. 🏉 

A huge thanks to all children and their families who attended the launch and it was fantastic to see the smiles across the children's faces and everyone having fun. 😃☀️ 

Ben McGlynn is extremely passionate about strengthening the game and fostering talent in Mildura and is excited about bringing some of his experience in the AFL to the region through Footy Star Academy Mildura.

We know Ben is really proud to have represented Sunraysia throughout his career and know that he is honoured to support the next generation of young local Footy Stars. 😊 

The Footy Star Academy program is different from other Footy programs. This is an all year round skill based program, taught by qualified coaches who are dedicated to providing a professional learning environment for your child. We are not associated with any club's Footy program and work in line with the school calendar.

Footy Star Academy coaching curriculum has been developed by Ben McGlynn himself and aims to reshape the way children learn and play. Footy coaching has changed and Footy Star Academy’s primary focus is to teach children the fundamental skills of Aussie Rules football in a fun and professional environment.
