We have coaches who are qualified in both codes and set out to introduce children to either code. With the younger age groups we focus on the basic skill sets that are an ever present of both codes. Focusing on skill development rather than focusing on the technicalities and rules of game.

All Rugby Star Academy sessions will go ahead at their scheduled time regardless of weather except in extreme circumstances. The ever changing nature of Australian weather makes it extremely difficult to forecast ahead of time to cancel sessions.

Should extreme weather postpone your session, you will be offered make up sessions in the ensuing weeks.

We do offer One on One training which can be tailored to your child’s needs including position specific, tactical awareness, and technique.

We have a strict no refund policy across all our program and no refunds are available if your child changes their mind. We always recommend to do the paid two week trial if your child is unsure before committing to the term program.

If your child wants to try another sport, we can transfer your child into a different Sport Star Academy sport pending availability in that class.

Rugby Star Academy offers both contact and non-contact sessions across all of our locations. Contact specific sessions will be highlighted. Any contact is conducted in a safe environment with our professionally qualified coaches.

Whilst we understand contact is a big part of the both codes, we believe that getting the fundamental skills of catching, passing and evasion are essential for children at young ages.

We are focused primarily on skill development in players aged 5-12 years old. Rugby Star Academy does not put teams together to compete at local level instead are invested in helping current and new players maximise their potential.

With small class sizes and professional coaches your child will be given more opportunities to interact with their coach. Allowing for a better learning experience for them to take back to their club team.

We also run year-round within the school term timetable giving your child the maximum opportunity to play the sport that they love.

By paying registration you become part of the SSA community. This registration fee unlocks benefits such as 40%off Adidas, discounts at 2XU as well as access to other SSA sports and sibling discounts. This is an annual fee.
